Far out… yes, that is the nice way of saying what all of us are thinking right now! And when team’s were announced, I’m sure everyone across the Bass Strait heard Vin cry out about the potential 7 outs - yes, that’s right, 7 outs this week from his backline!! It’s hurting a lot of people… people have limited trades left and this week the case is that there are only so many trades to go around. This is the place for you to get it off your chest… who’s out for you this week? Do you have any bench cover? Or… are you in a position to trade? Lets hear it in the comments below!
No donuts for me this week and no need for a trade - this is a fair turn around from early in the season funnily enough.

Potentially two donuts in the backs with Chad, King and possibly Symes out, although I’d be surprised if Symes didn’t play (Urquhart and Hartlett on the bench). Also Salopek and Hayes on the bench in the mids, but got cover in Bird and Eddy. I could have traded to cover, but they seem to be short term injuries. Give Salopek and Chad to over the mid-season break to re-assess where they are at.
just one donut in the backline if king doesnt play. looks like ill be relatively unscathed this week compared to a lot of people which is handy
I think Vin’s outs include: Chad, Peter Burg, Michael Johnson, Beau Waters, Dennis Armfield, Albert Proud (and that stupid rumour of Heath Shaw - which I am sure won’t be true). So at least he has 6 of his 9 backs out - which includes 4 playing ones. Our thoughts are with you Vin…

I’m still unsure whether to trade Chad or not! Do I dump him? And have someone a little more reliable - who would play out the season… ie. Guerra, Hargrave, Newman… hmm… any ideas?! Help!!

I’ll be trading out Brett Jones for Birchall this week to cover one donut. P.Burgoyne will goto my bench with Hartlett. I’m thinking of dropping Symes for Mackie aswell. The rest of my team is OK.

McLeod out (worst trade in of the year hands down… I did it when Chad got injured, oops!) but Bradshaw back. Riggio and Jake Edwards both available on the bench to cover for McLeod.
Chad, Burgoyne and McLeod out for me. I would trade but with the break you never know - they might only miss the one game, and then I will have wasted a trade. Plus the alternatives are all so shit in the backline that any trade in the backline is a waste of a trade. Thankfully Jake Edwards has been named so it’s only the one donut. I’ll put McLeod on the field just in case he does a Nathan Thompson and makes a miraculous one-week recovery from having an arthroscope!

I have got cover in all lines, but traded out Chad Pburger i was going to do it before they got injured for Osborne and Bowden i think he has turned the corner as long Wallace the knob plays him in his rightful roll not thinking he is a player who will get in and under and tackle he is bloke who should be play as a link up man. Keeping Mcleod as he may play next week, if he doesn’t i have cover for him in the way of john wilkes booth

3 donuts (all backline) looking at around 1900 this week. Not worth trading cause Peter and King could both be back after this split round, and McLeod hopefully the week after (plus i only have 3 trades left).
After playing last week chad will have around 29 days off til his next game taking into account missing this week and the bye.
My opinion is that a month off will give him a bit of time to get over his calf injury, let his finger heal a lot more and will help to manage his knee injury as well.
So i will be keeping him and wont be surprised if he comes back after the bye and starts getting good scores again
actually its not 29 days off if he only misses this week its 21 days, (its ok mathman i realised the error myself) but i still reckon chad will be good as gold for the second half of the season

There should be the option of a ‘Chop’ button on the AFL DT website when trading. With an animation of the disposed player getting slashed. And an option of ‘Extra Gore’ to convey extra chop-hatred.

I was planning on getting Eddy next week but with Hayes out and only Browne to cover I thought it would be better to take the risk on Eddy a week early so I have cover for Kornes if he happens not to play. Fingers crossed that Eddy holds his spot and keeps rackin’ up the points..
OH MY GOD!!! stop asking about Kane people! His wife had the baby today while the rest of the team flew over to Darwin, they called it Raphael and he will fly over tomorrow for the game. That’s it, got it from 10news in Adelaide, stop asking!
btw Raf I thought Scotty DT did alright in the few games he’s played. I’m not saying I’d trust Laidley to give him another go but I dont think he’s disappointed.
