There are alot of coaches with fingers firmly crossed that the likes of Jake King come back from injury this week to fill some dirty backline 0’s. This news is giving me a reason to live as im hanging out for any good backline news. Captain Kane Johnson (who cares), Daniel Jackson (does he play football?), Will Thursfield (what tha?) and JAKE KING (yay) could all be available for selection as they recover from their injuries.
i hope king playes and jake edwards or s.d.thompson playes so i can fill someone in for mcleod to avoid a zero. any new on how j.edwards and s.d.thompson went in vfl?
Edwards MIGHT come in with Armfield out, but i’d say Pffiefer will.
Laidley is a moron so SDT will prob stay out haha.
I umpired S.D Thompson on the weekend and he wasn’t much of a standout at all. I can’t see him getting the call up for this weekend.

ok is anyone out there who did the same thing i did. Trade bowden out for king, not because you wanted to, just because king was doing ok and it was kinda a tiger for a tiger. now bowden gets 180 and king is injured…..and the worst part is that i love joel bowden and hate that midget
Wallace said skipper Kane Johnson, full-back Will Thursfield, much-improved small defender Jake King and Daniel Jackson - who successfully tagged Carlton skipper Chris Judd in the Tigers’ Round 1 win over the Blues - were all set to resume this week following injury with Thursfield’s return in particular crucial given he is the Tigers’ first choice to play on in-form Blues’ spearhead Brendan Fevola.

Well he’s not a backliner, but Johnson is just inside the top 50 players this year (#50)with an average of 89.11.
1800-odd DTers will be happy to see him back.
By the sounds of wallace, only a couple of the 4 players coming back will get in, obviously the captian Kane Johnson will, and from the sounds of it Thursfield will (to play on Fev).
Doesn’t sound good for Kingy to me.
JON and Polo i think will be definite outs, Terry dosen’t like changing a winning side so I doubt King will play this week.

McMahon has the highest efficiency at Richmond. Wallace stated this on Footy classified last night. King could come in for JON.
McMahon was fantastic against Port. King will play for Mcguane. Kane johnston will play for Polo cause he was pathetic last week.
I traded Osborne for Bowden on Monday only to find out 4 hours later Mcleod was out (Whom I also have!) Doh!
