Price Check with Chad

DEFENDERS

West Coast has 3 players with the lowest BE’s this week. Matthew Spangher (-29), Tim Houlihan (-58) and Beau Wilkes (-59). David Myers from Essendon has a low BE of 11. As mentioned last week Andrew McLeod has struggled recently, and put up another low score by his standards which sees another 34k come off his price, now at $251,400. He still has a BE this week of 107, so may not have bottomed out for anyone interested in him.

MIDFIELDERS

DT Talks own Josh P Kennedy is due to change in price this week and has a BE of -48. Sharrod Wellingham owners would still be very happy with his scores, and the low BE of  -12. Trent Cotchin also put up another 60 score which seen his price rise by $31k and gives him a BE of 3 this week. Brad Ebert only put up a 52 this week, but due to the massive score last week his price still rose again by 35k this week, and he has a BE of -6.

FORWARDS

Jarryd Morton has the lowest BE this week of -69 after averaging 66 in his first 2 games. Superstar Johnathon Brown has certainly seen a return to form the past few weeks with 3 hundreds in a row. His price went up 49k this week, but doubt remains on how badly he injured his knee. Even with a crook knee though, he should be able to get his BE of 2 this week.A link with all the Break Evens for Round 11 is now available.

    I think the most underrated rookie this year has been kyle reimers. He did get injured and had a crap game against the pies when not 1 bombers player had a good dream team score.

    Other then that he’s been money in the bank. With Burton out I think he’ll make a good replacement, and it means I won’t need to trade.

    He may look like a 13 year old with his complexion and don’t get me started on those orange boots but I say Reimers all the way.

    I’m with you Fry, I put Reimers in and he’s been nothing but reliable. A handy replacement for Burton.

    He’s no Strezlecki, but he’ll do.

    Agreed about Reimers, but now at 250k there are others that are value as well. E.g. Richard Douglas for 230k isn’t too bad either

    Traded Edwards who only looks like a footballer for Reimers just before Edwards got injured. Best trade of the year so far I think. I think there is only an upside with Reimers too, as he seems to be improving with every game.

    I’m trading Rioli this week for either Franklin, Deledio, Gia or Stevie Johnson. Tending to be looking Franklin or Gia. Opinions welcome!

    what do you guys think of matty stokes ??
    317000 av 87
    pretty good value if you ask me
    could be a nice 7th Fwd
    if i trade rioli >stokes
    cost 55 000 for a 17 ppg more

    or should i spend more money gettin possible gia/ROK/ maybe even didak (but that will hurt the wallet) >limiting otha upgrades.
    my main aim is overall
    would love a few thoughts ?

    Hey fellas,
    Out of the three west coast defenders who is the most likely to stay in the team as a regular - Matty Spangher, beau wilkes or tim houlihan?

    Gia and O’Keefe are great selections if you ask me if you want to upgrade a rookie

    Both a brilliantly consistent and will score 80 as a minimum and 120 and a max. Very reliable!!

    David Neitz is currently under 200k, what a bargain. Get on him before you miss out.

    Gia is not as robust as OKeefe…will definately be injured at some stage before the season ends ;)

    I now have 5 trades left but have a good side and emergencys who are all playing so i only need to trade for injuries.

    Hows this look?

    Dodd to Wilkes.

    Hawkins to Medhurst

    Gardiner to Simmonds.

    5 trades for the rest of the season with a good reliable team scoring 1950+ each week.

    Need to upgrade harry taylor to a defender under 330k this week, im thinking milburn because of his consistency but how about mcphee as a surprise packet now that lloyd and lucas are back giving him room to move?

    what are ppls thoughts

  23. GravatarBy palmer for the brownlow! on Jun 4, 2008 | Reply

    stuey. think about mcleod. he is a very good player but struggling due to tight tags. im gonna pick him up when he has bottomed out. but get milburn aswell if ya can

    With Burton out,Brown uncertain and Kreuz being rested, i will probably take a DONUT this week..
    But this is what i am thinking:

    OUT = J Hill
    IN = J Morton
    —————-
    OUT = Gamble
    IN = Either Reiwoldt,Wirrpanda, Thomas or Stokes………….
    With 335,500 to spare which one ya reckon ?????

  25. GravatarBy Chad on Jun 4, 2008 | Reply

    Riewoldt out of that list for me. Proven DT gun, usually 10 marks 10 kicks which is 60 points before any goals are added.

  26. GravatarBy damo95 on Jun 4, 2008 | Reply

    DAZZLER…just a quick question…why the f.u.c.k do you still have J Hill?
    He should have been offloaded weeks ago!!!

  27. GravatarBy Sparlo on Jun 4, 2008 | Reply

    Any Hawks supporters what is Morton’s chance of being a regular addition this season?

    Is he on the rookie list still? or will he get dumped to allow Hodge and Crawf to come back in?

  28. GravatarBy Ausyid on Jun 4, 2008 | Reply

    which midfield rookie do i bring in for wonaemirri?
    is there anyone worth it?

  29. GravatarBy DAZZLER on Jun 5, 2008 | Reply

    Morton is on their senior list SPARLO…

    DOMA, if got NFI why i still have him, my F/UP !!!

  30. GravatarBy DAZZLER on Jun 5, 2008 | Reply

    Woops DAMO, got your name F’D/UP as well.. :)
