Trio Face Bans… Murphy 1, Burton and Waters 2
The match review panel have had their say… Robert Murphy – 2 games, but with an early guilty plea can take 1 week (most likely to happen)… Brett Burton – 3 games, but with an early plea can take 2 weeks (he better just take the two… sorry Birdman, that was terrible)… and Beau Waters will cop the two weeks also.
In some injury news today, Kane Johnson has been ruled out for 3-4 weeks with his knee injury and the Lion’s are optomistic about Jonathon Brown’s knee.

im pissed off about waters getting suspended especially after the last two out, but at least he is having a dip, and thats something i can’t say for most of the eagles side.
I think I will have to boot Burton and hope that either Gamble or Valenti play to cover for Murphy. Or hope that Murphy appeals and gets off. Seriously the guy fell into Murphs shoulder…..it wasnt his fault…..IT WASNT HIS FAULT!!!

hey guys. just wondering why the guy for essendon didnt did reported for his hit on Simon Goodwin (did anyone else see it?). It was a front on hip and shoulder, with no eyes for the ball, when Goody was going for a mark.
also waters incident was in the last quarter(if i rememba correctly) so he didnt really hav 2 go at o’bree but atleast his havin a red hot go
I have Burton and Brown in my forward line, so hopefully JB gets up this week!
The good news is, my opponents for the next few weeks are pretty ordinary, so I should still win without Burton. Hopefully Edwards or Gamble get a game to avoid me getting a ZERO though!

hmm its not quite a sideways trade, johnson is gona score you more..but unless fev is the worst player in your forward line i wouldnt get rid of him(and not for stevie J if you did)

I totally agree with Michael08. Waters, is someone i considered early in the year but went for Bock Dog instead. Im glad I only hear about the Waters sob stories rather than live them.

Captains will be interesting this week. If J Brown is named (vs Freo) you’d have to consider him, with a good VC to back up, but what if he is playing restricted? Cox is playing Sydney (waiting for Vin to come through with the mail on what Cox averages vs Sydney!). Chad isn’t 100% yet. G Ablett will get tagged by Rawlings.
Predicting that Scott Thompson vs Richmond, Dane Swan v Melbourne and Joel Corey/Jimmy Bartel vs North will probably be the big predictions!
i have got burton,j.brown and chapman all in my forward line! i have josh kennedy and tippett on my bench and i want to downgrade tippett to either morton from the hawks or valenti who would be a better option? who will more likly get more games? with that spare money i then have to upgrade kruzer and i want to get cox and for me to do that i need to wait another week and downgrade browne from carlton to get him. is it worth wasting 2 downgrade trades then another 1 for cox or should i just go for charman?
