DT Talk Party in Melbourne
Singing – “I’m a party girl with a, bad habit, bad habit for DT” – “I’m a slut and I know it… I want to root all the DT boys…” – ha ha ok ok!
Well, on Thursday 12th, the DT Talk crew will pack our bags and head to Melbourne to catch a few games, gather DT material for the show and to … run a muck! We will also be having our first ever DT Talk Party/Gathering…
On Saturday 14th the DT Talk crew consisting of Roy, Warnie, Calvin, VT, Tit-Ed and a few more of our ’special’ mates will be at the “Precinct Hotel” in Richmond at 7:00pm ready to roll. We will be there to watch Sydney vs St Kilda and Adelaide vs Hawthorn games, also to chat DT and to gas on!! So, book it in your diary, tell your Mrs. that you will be home late, fatten up that wallet and come on down. We are extremely pumped to meet all those people who we only know as an alias so get on it. Will we be seeing you??

DT Lads. You wouldn’t be aware of this but you have a farily significant following from a bunch of Aussie expats living in Hong Kong. A few of us are heading down to Melbourne in July for a couple of weeks and we’d kill to catch up with you fellas and talk DT. Honestly, you guys are a major hit over here and the work you have done putting this site together is absolutely fantastic. You’re a lifeline for us week in week out. I wouldn’t have my 1400 ranking without you ! To those that are complaining about the venue for your June get together. Get a fucking life. At least you are living in the fucking country and have a choice to attend. We would give our leftie to be there !

Bloody Hell. I have now realised that is the night the Aussies take on the Irish in the rugby in Melbourne….I have had the tickets for months now!!! I will be making an apprearence, but it will be at about 10:30. Spewin!

Calvin. We are in HK for a heap of different reasons. Some are teachers, some work in financial services, others are self employed. Because of the 40 hours a week I spend on DT I am now totally unemployable !
So I fall into the self employed category which enables me to sit at my big fat desk, on my big fat arse and look like I’m working.
I like the sound of you Chunky…..Sounds like we are very similar….except the whole being self employed part….Im in sales….enough said about having time for DT!

This party is going to be huge. Everyone in a position to get there should rock up and have a few frothies. After watching the last episode and looking at where we are going out, we should see if we can hook Warnie up with a glamour. Any how, good work boys

Spewin boys, just looked at flights, nearly $400 each way at short notice (from good old Perth). Pretty expensive for a long weekend. Keen as fuck if ya can give a little more notice for the next one (like 6 weeks would be more than enough), even if its in the home town of Tassie, never been there.
Some boys and I went on a massive Melb trip on the weekend (we are from Tas as well) and spent about 8-9 hours at the Precinct on Sunday night. Got blind and danced badly, but it was huge. I’d say there were over 1,500 people there. Pretty swanky and the girls were all premier league standard (while we are about Div 4 in the Hungarian League). We saw Dipper and Jason Saddington, Emma from BB and a few others.
Definately worth starting your night out there, although it did close at midnight which seemed strange. Watch out for that 2am curfew as well- we got caught out every night!

Did it get busy early? I emailed them (for a joke to get the event on their events page) and they pretty much said it wasn’t a good idea as you might miss out! Will be pissed if I miss out!
Its strange because I don’t know if its just me or not but the website makes it seem like its a small pub or something!

We got there around 3pm (this was on a Sunday before a public holiday- so I would imagine the crowd was bigger than normal), and it was pretty busy already, but we managed to get a seat. At about 5:30 I had to go outside for a minute and when I came back in, I noticed that people were lining up to get in. By the end of the night it was packed and you only got in if you were good looking or wearing really nice shoes. I’d imagine you would want to get there before 7 to be any chance of getting a seat/table to lean on & probably to avoid lining up.

Ta Ken, thats what I thought. Might try to get there around 5pm and have dinner there and watch the end of the Saturday Day game.
I image the boys will be there straight from the footy.
