As the weeks go by, the teams are halving in the Eliminator. I was very fortunate to get through with a woeful score of 1850 (by 5 points). How is everyone else going? how many of us are still Active?

Was eliminated this week. Given my scores though (averaged 1600 until a week or 2 ago) I was surprised to last that long.
Biggest margin in any of the games was 40 points, so it was good to have a few good, close games.
Got through again 1916 it good fun before the last game behind only to come home with a wet sail

Won this week but was close..2058 to 2015.
Opponent must be gutted scoring over 2000 and losing.
Hoping for an easier opponent next week.
Won again with an improving side. 1970 vs 1845 (best opponent score for the year).
If all goes well will be able to get through next week (will probably bring in Brad Johnson to replace Gamble this week) and if Symes and Houli can play will have my side two to three players off a 2000 a week side.
Making the top 4000 odd would be a pretty good performance and from there, who knows!

solid win, 2063 - 1790. should be pretty exciting from here on in. i doubt there is any1 averaging under 1700 left in the comp. maintaining a spot in the top half will be important for survival.

i was unlucky to get knocked out of eliminator this week. you probably dont want to hear my rant but i dont care.
unluckyness 1: he had scott thompson as captain (153 points). i had coxy (81)
unluckyness 2: i “upgraded” rioli to chappy during the week. the bald c**t pulled out with a hamstring.
unluckyness 3. Gamble was my forwardline sub. hello 20 points.
all this combined for a loss by 33 points 1906 to 1939. im spewing.
that sucks spuzzlord, its ahrsh how some great scores get knocked out, and i get through with a crap 1850 this week.

Won 1953 - 1828. The guy I beat this week is the second time in the eliminator so far that I have beaten someone who’s overall rank is way higher than mine. Pulling off some upsets
feel for you spuzzlord - I had a similar situation in losing 1903 to 1869
(1) played david myers and benched harry taylor - myers responding with a massive 22.
(2) Chappy pulling out meant my emergency - Tippett - stepped in with a humongous 14.
(3) Also had gamble on the ground with his mammoth 20.
in the end was lucky to even get to 1869 I suppose…
Don’t forget the huge 19 points managed by Playfair, after 63 then 82 his first 2 games. Looked like a great cash cow, now I will be lucky if he doesn’t get dropped.

Managed to pull out a 2022 to win by about 200 points. I hope i get a dud this week, but I think it’s gonna take a fair bit of arse from here. A good team doesn’t necessary amount to a good score, as there are many better teams out of the eliminator than mine.
P.S. I’m not wasting trades to just try and stay in the eliminator.
