In news overnight, Sydney player Darren Jolly, had a handball when he should have technically been off the ground. His team mate, rookie-ruck-to-keep-an-eye-on Jesse White, entered play while Jolly stayed on the ground for 30-40 seconds. Jolly’s handball ultimately resulted in a rushed behind and therefore the draw in the game. But, those extra two points for Jolly’s handball could be valuable for the 3,379 coaches who have him - considering Jolly is a spud and not a DTer at all. So good luck to you…

Wow, what recourse does a DTer have to go to the AFL if they lost by a point and there opponent had Jolly?
I thought you would be dark if you drew or lost by a point and you got rob of a hitout that Sam Mitchell got late in the Hawks game when they called it back.

I would have thought that it was Jesse White’s responsibility to wait on the sideline till Jolly was off the field, not Jolly’s to watch when Jesse White comes on and make sure he gets of ASAP.
Its just lucky for the swans that the captain of the kangas didnt ask for play to be stopped and a head count done in the middle of the ground!
surely at this level an interchange steward should make sure this doesn’t happen.. seems like something that would happen in under 8’s
No-one has proven to me it’s Jolly’s fault (I traded him into my SC team last round but i killed my opponent anyway).. Swans had LRT go off, and White & Jack come on… surely it was Jack that went on incorrectly (tall for tall swap)
Jolly was just the closest player that they called off in the mistake
