The latest Fantasy Freako email from our good friends at Champion Data has been mailed out - I can’t believe there are people out there now who haven’t got on board it yet?! Details are below on how to sign up to it to get some DT news, advice and information that isn’t available elsewhere… This week the Freak looks at Barry Hall (and possible replacements), different game styles of some clubs, who to buy, who to sell, possible Captain choices for this week and much more.
Do NOT sell BJ. Why? He’s a gun. If you’ve got him, keep him. He’s got a niggling injury that will depress his scores for a few more weeks but he’ll come good. You don’t trade out guns unless they retire, or die.
BJ is aging, it would be very naive to expect someone to retain their previous years scoring ability when they get to that twilight of their career. If you take out the last 10-15 minutes of his first game this season he has been very poor.
If you have him I would hold on for now as you have done a fair bit of cash already, but I would definitely not be buying him no matter how far he falls - much better value to be had in S Johnson, J Brown or Riewoldt and they are not in the twilight of their careers!
Agree with Besty, Riewoldt is a better option to pick, at the moment.
Hopefully BJ picks up his game.
Who should i get for Hall, use my spare cash and get Riewoldt or save a bit and get Murphy?
these mailouts are complete trash. The preseason ones were gold but i think the Freako has lost touch. Selling BJ at a huge loss? Mooney not playing?? Richo at ($8k more) being a better deal than J Brown in the Hall trade?? Please go back to sending out full stats in the user freindly nature of the pre season Freako, your personal comments / opinions are that of a DT newbie.
