Dream Team Talk HospitalA big cash cow went down, some popular choices and a few dollars too…

  • Stuart Dew (Hawthorn) - hamstring - will miss around a month
  • Aaron Davey (Melbourne) - foot - club says he will miss a couple of weeks with strained foot ligaments (apparently Richo missed 3 months with a similar injury)
  • Travis Cloke (Collingwood) - ankle - likely to be right
  • Tyson Goldsack (Collingwood) - broken nose - should be ok to play
  • Josh Drummond (Brisbane) - quad - 2-4 weeks
  • Adam Goodes (Sydney) - suspended - 1 week
  • Shaun Higgins (Western Bulldogs) - ankle - 1-2 weeks
  • Kurt Tippett (Adelaide) - jarred knee - needs scans
  • Darren Glass (West Coast) - ankle - doubtful
  • Darren Jolly (Sydney) - ankle - 1-2 weeks
  • Courtenay Dempsey (Essendon) - hamstring - 3-4 weeks
  • Andrew Raines (Richmond) - dislocated knee - likely to miss a couple

Thanks 4 that warnie. I’ve been busy tinkering with Tippetts scans all day. I dont care if hes done an ACL, those scans will be all clear.

Tippett will be back in at most 1 week, so definitely stick with him.

i know thompson of the nathan variety is really cheap. but i mean hes not going to pop out with 80 every week like he did first round. i would expect his average throughout the year to be around the 50 mark. dont rate him, go with a rookie who can give you just as much score wise for less cash.

yer im waiting for thompson to increase in value so i can trade him of for someone big i.e. Riewoldt

    Hally:

A Geelong supporter on BigFooty said they heard on ‘radio’ that Mackie will, at the earliest, be back for the game against St Kilda (Round 4) so stick with him if you’ve got an emergency to cover.

also, any thoughts on Cam Cloke? Is he just having a good couple of week, or can he maintain his 80+ ppg average…a bargain at 220k or so
