Aurion V6 AFL Dream TeamAurion V6 AFL Dream TeamAurion V6 AFL Dream TeamAurion V6 AFL Dream TeamAurion V6 AFL Dream TeamThe Dream Team site is now open for round two… some things that are exciting to see is that there are 137,747 people in the competition (that’s less than SuperCoach - good one AFL, you only have yourself to blame! Get it open earlier.). To make the top 100, you needed to score more than 1,959 points. Jonathon Brown was the most selected player, followed by Matthew Kreuzer, Cyril RioliChad Cornes and Kurt Tippett. Once again, the Hawthorn supporters are looking like the best at the moment and the South Australians are the state with the best average (come on Tassie!). All these stats and more are there for your viewing pleasure on the site.

Oh and the fixtures for our leagues are up… I know the Warne Dawgs aren’t very happy about playing Tackling Tit-ed and destROY in the first two rounds… ouch!

It’s cause SuperCoach scoring system is heaps better. Although, I still love DT just not as much.

SC rewards better players.. i only see numbers.. i am very caveman like - just kick, don’t handball… doesn’t matter if it’s a turnover! hahaha..

is jake edwards likely to play again this week?

1830 - solid start, sticking with my lineup but will get Geary on the field this week, that would have taken me over 1900 if he’d played - that bloody lockout fiasco screwed that up but overall not unhappy.

hmm 1792 reasonably satisfied as i think half my team underperformed. im not sure if this is on the injury list but i thought there might be a few other people out there like myself who would be interested in this article on mark lecras’s groin injury which hints he could be looking at a stint on the sidelines

Got 1908 which is my best start ever. This is my second season doing DT, I’ve come a long way from 1700 being a good score.

i got 1694 with 1 player short which is ok i guess (would have been 1741 if the afl site didnt go down as i woulda had cale morton as a reserve insted of masten or macnamara) but i have to use 2 trades now to get my team to where i wanted it to be before round 1 :/

    not happy but oh well

the lockout fiasco didn’t affect my team at all and i reaped the benefits.

Has anyone got any info on the Eliminator? If only 137,747 entered and they take the first 131,072 for the Eliminator, then you’d have to be pretty unluncky to miss out. It said your entry would be confirmed with round 1 results, but i cant see enything that says if i made it or not. Maybe i’m one of the unlucky ones…? Just wondering if anyone else has been enetered yet. Cheers

turned out not a bad week this week, despite a bad score finished up top in all three leagues, including Choppers. Rest of the year looks quite good from here

I’m kinda angry that theres random people in my league with a few mates. We had a full 16 but i guess some people didn’t have a full squad by the time of lockout (due to the AFL DT site going down and slow). So now we have 4 random people in our league. Kinda wrecks the fun of the league. Best part of the league is giving crap to the people you beat on the Monday. Can’t really give crap to random people :p

had a bad week also, but whats with Dyson? anyone got any ideas? im doing DT and he was prefered over Houli…should i be regretting my decision or was it just a one off kinda things?

i was just looking at my team and i went to do a trade to have a look at sum players but it only shows u the players you can afford…. ? when i do my trades, i base it on my next trade aswell (eg. how much money will i need to make in my first trade to get *player x* in my second)

last year it would show every1 available and if you didnt have enough money, it would just tell you.

bit annoying if u have ot open another windows and search through the players / prices there

Everone’s looking at Houli but what about Dempsey? Could be a handy option as well ?

Fair start for me with 1819. Would have liked Hill for Hartlett, Jack for McNamara and Edwards for Proud and and extra $60k in the bank like I wanted at 5pm on Thursday!!

Got locked out of SC as well. Cost me there. Only started with 20 players with Thompson and Jack on the bench (didnt get a chance to name emergencies). Would have been 8th overall (Adelaide Adv. SC). 86th instead.

look ‘warner’ mate. i dont know who you think you are.. but if your gonna wander around these forums bagging on DT and the legendary Warnie i think you can go and get fucked you useless prick!

  26. GravatarBy Al on Mar 25, 2008 | Reply

I got 300!!! Woohoo!!! Go me!

  27. GravatarBy Owl Hunter on Mar 25, 2008 | Reply

    yeah bugger off warner

Anyway its a hard one with Dempsey and Houli, In SC Dempsey is 120k more than Houli but in DT Houli is 60k more than Dempsey. No doubt both will make you some money but depends on which comp you play, money etc ???????

For a punt take Sam Lonergan, dont know if he will play all season with Knighter’s rotation but he was a ball magnet in juniors and with a score of 77 DT this week cant ask much more for 83k

  28. GravatarBy the wallcob on Mar 25, 2008 | Reply

lmao warner’s comment got knocked off

  29. GravatarBy fredsta pal on Mar 25, 2008 | Reply

    Yeh good point owl hunter…

I’m thinking I let it ride this weekend see how Dyson goes (I’ve got him) but if he fails dismally (again) then he’s gone… maybe a chance for dempsey or maybe even lonergan depending on how they go…

I play DT by the way :-)

    cheers pal

Yeah - Warner can have a holiday is he isn’t gonna give love to DT! haha.. :P

  31. GravatarBy Owl Hunter on Mar 25, 2008 | Reply

I prefer DT over SC anyway, just my mates play SC, it just hard enough to pick your team without worrying if they can kick it to a player etc etc. And anyway who say that just becasue they dont kick it to another player its not an effective kick etc etc !!

1827, reasonably happy, need Gram to step up though.

  33. GravatarBy Owl Hunter on Mar 25, 2008 | Reply

Dyson looks lost at times, dont know if he is quick enough to fit into Knighters plans. However he will be given his chance over the season. Same as Jason Johnson and Peverill, no doubt they have good footy brains but the games about speed and movement now if ya cant keep up then ya bound to play alot of VFL.
