Wojcinski out for up to 4 weeks
Geelong defender, David Wojcinski (CTR in DT, $248,900), will be sidelined for up to a month after surgery on his little finger… ok, this maybe isn’t that ‘news worthy’ and you can just read all of the latest injury and suspension updates in the sensational, regularly updated “Injuries and Suspensions” Dream Team Talk Hospital post. But… this has DT impact! Maybe that could open up a spot in the ‘Best 22′ for a rookie or a ‘cash-cow’ to get a spot for the first few weeks.
Here are a couple of options:
- Ryan Gamble (FWD, $83,500) – had been brilliant and kicking goals in pre-season. Averaged 70 DT points in first 3 games of NAB Cup/Challenge.
- Brent Prismall (CTR, $218,300) – averaged 52 in first 3 games, midfielder who gets it… could be a chance!
- Tom Lonergan (BAC, $92,500) – close to best 22… was sensational for Cat’s VFL side in GF last year… and with Egan out also, could get a run!
There are a few others, but these are the front runners in my opinion! Speculate now, but we won’t know for sure until they run out next Thursday night!

I’m getting on Prismall, as Wojak generally plays in the midfield, and Prismall has been bloody unlucky not to break in.
Big Max Baily has torn the cartlige in his knee. Not sure how long he is out for!

Is it possible for prismall to take Wojcinski’s spot and for Lonergan to take Egan’s? Hopefully both can fit and their prices should go up quickly!
thats all well and good to take prismall, but wat if wojinks is a automatic slection wen he returns then ur stuck with prsimall

aaron has a point. Woj is good enough to be in the 22 as soon as his finger is good enough…I think.
prismall will find it hard to crack into a full strength geelong midfield. if he gets piked Rnd 1 hes gona have to impress.
