AFL Dream Team Delay… Opening Soon
There have been thousands of people let down, pissed off and brought to tears like a six year old on Xmas Day when Santa didn’t come. Now firstly, grow up… yes it sucks that it isn’t open yet and we are probably the biggest sooks out of everyone, however… it will open and there will be AFL Dream Team this year.
Virtual Sports, the awesome dudes who make the DT interface, have developed the 2008 edition and is apparently looking sensational. Unfortunately, the opening is out of Virtual Sports’ hands (the actual site has been ready to go for a few weeks). So, please don’t call, email or stalk them out… they are doing all they can and just the green light to make it all happen!
The only thing that sucks with it opening late is getting your leagues sorted… so why wait? Send out your emails and texts now and get your league of 16 on board so that is all go as soon as it opens.
The other whinge I am hearing is “I just wanna make my team”… have you not heard of FanFooty? On Monty’s fabulous site you can use the sensational Fan Planner feature to get your 30 man squad together. This has all of the official prices and positions… so it’s still DT, just looks different! Once you’re done.. print it out and it won’t take long to pump it into the official site when it’s up. Hey.. change it 100 times like we have already!
Don’t stress DT fans… it’ll happen soon, and DT Talk will be there every step of the way!

When you say “the opening is out of Virtual Sports’ hands” what do you exactly mean?
i am guessing the AFL is the ones delaying it.
Brown. we can’t really say, but put two and two together and you might work it out… what is needed for this comp to run and to make it worthwhile to all punters? That could be a reason…

Guys I think what we are starting to see is that the orginal management team at Vapromedia are probably out of their depth now that dteam has grown into a major product and that its time for them to get a better management team who have more experience running a more significant organisation. To not have resolved all sponsorship issues buy now is beyond belief
I should add all they need to do is post something on the website stating ‘ We are sorry for the delay, and we are now expecting that the dteam will open on the 13th of March etc’ If they did this it would not be an issue. People are frustrated with the lack of information.

this is ridiculous, i go away camping on monday and wnt return till thursday if dream team isnt updated by sunday il have like less than 2 hours to make my dream team and join my mate’s league
