Bird looks good, but will he play round 1? how did he go in NAB challenge game against the port under 25’s?
Not a bad analysis. I would classify Goodes as Elite potential and leave out Kennelly. Fantastic player, love him to bits, but not a DTer. I would also avoid Micky O for the same reasons as Nicky D.
Bird played well again, he’s definitely in the mix. With Fosdike out and Dempster/Schneider gone, and Schmidt hasn’t appeared in pre-season yet, there may be a spot for him. Wouldn’t expect much though, considering how much rotation occurs in the Sydney midfield, so I would look to him as a cash cow rather than as a points accumulator.
Agreed, i said to warnie that goodes is expensive but worth it. I am hoping bird is a cash cow.
yeah.. ok… i agree, Goodes is a star! i called him a game breaker cos he has kinda gone past having potential.. throws out a big hundred, bu can have some low scores there too..
i rate tadhg.. i think he can average 80-90 this year, and given opportunity, could be called ‘elite’.. but yeah.. probably not the true elite player we’re talking about here.
as for micky o.. and nicky d.. not at all DTers! haha..
How is LRT on the chopping block? at Less than 250grand and averaging over 75??
look at him
what about Ed Barlow
