For the DT novices out there, you can be a good footballer but can be a very average Dream Teamer. Take Darren Glass for example. He is the new West Coast Eagles captain and an All Australian player… and will probably be fairly cheap but for a very good reason! He only averages 38.8 DT points per game with his highest ever score (over the past 7 seasons) being 80. Another player that goes alright on the ground is Magpie Simon Prestigiacomo but again only averages 27.1 DT points per game. There are plenty more of these players floating around out there!! One of the big keys to Dream Team is picking the best ‘cheap’ players. This firstly helps with having the coin left to pick the expensive guns you want and these dudes, if you get the right ones, can double in value before you know it and hello, you might turn a Nathan Bock into a Jimmy Bartel!
