So here I am, sitting in seat C row 11 on my way from LA to Vancouver (not name dropping cities or anything). To my left I am sitting next to Mr. Miyagi’s grandmother who is constantly stretching her arthritic knees and to my right is a normal looking man who is supporting an over exaggerated extra large watch face. I’m scanning the plane for terrorist and people that I feel are a threat to me arriving safely. I see a man with one of those cloths wrapped around his head, but he is Indian I think and therefore harmless, unless on the cricket field………and then I shut my eyes and I find myself thinking about dreamteam and Chris Judd. To get Judd or not?? That is the big question for 2008?
A few days ago, sluggish DTer of 2007, Marc Murphy (who scored over 90 DTers 4 times), said something that I can’t get outta my head. He said in referring to Chris Judd… “The other day he was out doing rehab running and he ran a 10.30 [Princes] Park, which is the best at the club,”…..best at the club Marc….WHAT???
Ok Marc… I expect Judd to be able to run quicker than all the Cartlon dudes anyway… but fresh from surgery… currently in rehab… during the pre-season… posting the quickest time…are you serious??

As some have seen, Virtual Sports have updated their AFL Dream Team website. On there are details about the games we all love and know, but what catches our eye are some of the ‘exciting new changes’ that we will experience in ‘08.

So… what does all of this mean? Well, as mentioned in the Pre-Season Episode 1 of DT Talk, Peter from Virtual Sports shared with the DT Talk crew some of the news on DT in ‘08!
“I can tell you one of the games will be attached to the normal DT, just another opportunity to compete against other teams in the overall competition.” Peter said. “The second is a league based competition which will be seperate and independent of the DT (and is awesome, the die-hards will love it).”
Peter also goes on to say that they are “pretty excited” with the general site for 2008 and a lot of work has gone into the re-development. There will be a lot of new features, “some little and others pretty big” but assured us that the overall formula and mechanics of DT wouldn’t change. The biggest one being: not having to buy ‘a sponsors low cost product’ for extra trades!! On the website it says: “Plus over a dozen new live and interactive features for 2008 - announced soon!”
Peter added that we “will hopefully see the game a lot sooner for 08 than usual.” Woohoo!!
Thanks Peter! Just remember DT Talk will be there every step of the way! And as the Virtual Sports site says, “AFL Fantasy Footy will never be the same again…”

As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I start the count down to the DT 2008 season. As I pass through this valley I see many former players…. now dead (cause I’m in the valley). OK I think you get that. Ok, vin is now out of the valley and back in DT world, and what I lovely place it is!!! - This year DT will be BIGGER, bader, better, and BIGGER, too many biggers …… than ever before. I Mr. Vin Vin, will be posting you on several topics from the U.S of A from which captains to choose and which piece of wood a woodchuck would chuck if the wood chucker had heaps of wood….. in his pile…….. also doing this as the boys work hard back in Australia on the youtube broadcast. I can promise you 3 things. 1. A ripper DT 2008 season. 2. A mad mad mad youtube broadcast and funnier than ever before (no pressure boys) and 3. Me bringing you top quality information with at least 6-10 drinks under my belt each time, and I’m off to a good start (I’m on #7 right now)! - I’ll be in touch…. in a non preist way!! - unless you’re lucky!!

Firstly just let me start by saying how disgusted I am with the amount of merchandise the dttalk boys have sold. I know that they said that the stubbie holders were selling like hot cakes…. Well, I’ve got news for you Walter Concrights……. they aren’t.
Where else would you find a kick arse $10 present for all the secret santas that will coming up in the not to distant future. I have had enough of people wrapping up poxy presents and i have seen enough lollipops shaped like penis…. you tossers…. how about you get a bloke something he can use.
So get off your arses……. start studying up and get on the merch…or i might have to pay everyone a visit with my new sharp axe. Get ready for an awesome season of Dt Talk for the upcoming season… Word is that the production costs have sky rocketed
